The library now offers remote printing from any computer (including at home, work, school, etc.) for pickup at the Hughes Main Library downtown. Printing is 10 cents per page for black and white and 50 cents per page for color.

1) How to print from a laptop or desktop computer at home or work:

  • Begin by visiting http://www.printeron.net/gcls/hml.
  • Select the color or black and white printer and enter your email address.
  • Browse your computer to find and select the file you wish to print.
  • Click the green print icon (you will see the status of your print job and a reference number).
  • At the Print Release Station in the library in the Tech Center on the 2nd floor, login with the email address you used above.
  • You can preview print jobs by clicking on the preview button beside each print job.
  • Select the print jobs you want to print and click the Print button at the top.
  • Pay for your print jobs in the vending device.

2) How to use email to send something directly to library print system:

  • Email from any device directly to the library’s print system at

                    B/W Email address: gcls-hml-bw@printspots.com

                   Color Email address: gcls-hml-color@printspots.com

  • At the Print Release Station in the library in the Tech Center on the 2nd floor, login with the email address you used above.
  • The email itself will appear in the print queue
  • Additionally, any attachments will be processed as separate print jobs.
  • You can preview print jobs by clicking on the preview button beside each print job.
  • Select the print jobs you want to print and click the Print button at the top.
  • Pay for your print jobs in the vending device.
