If you're 18 or older, simply come to one of our locations with a picture ID and proof of residence. If your SC driver's license or state ID card is up-to-date and the street address is correct, that's all you need! Otherwise, you'll need to bring one document from each of the next two sections below:

Acceptable ID

  • Driver's License
  • State ID Card
  • School ID Card
  • Passport
  • Company ID Badge

Acceptable proof of residence

  • Lease agreement papers or mortgage documents
  • Report card with current street address
  • School ID Card
  • Utility bill (no older than 30 days)
  • Checkbook with current street address
  • Mail to your street address (no PO boxes) postmarked within the last 30 days.

For minors (ages 5-17) a parent or legal guardian must complete and sign this form as well as providing the above information. Aquí está la versión en español de la biblioteca de aplicaciones de forma tarjeta.

How much does it cost?

If you're a Greenville County resident, it's free!

If you're a resident of Anderson, Laurens, Pickens, or Spartanburg County, it's free although some restrictions apply.

For all other non-residents it costs $38.
