You can search through the Consumer Reports archive from the current issue back to the 1980s and view the full text of all the articles for free using your library card!

Just select EBSCOhost from our list of online resources, and click on MasterFile Premier in the list. When prompted, enter your library card number and your PIN (usually the last 4 digits of your phone number).

Then, click on "Publications" in the top left corner of the screen, type Consumer Reports into the search box, and click the "Browse" button.

Click on the first link for Consumer Reports in your results, then you can browse by year and issue on the right, or click "Search within this publication" to search all the back issues. Any articles you find can be downloaded, printed or emailed, all with just your library card!
