Once a physical item (e.g., book, DVD, audiobook on CD) is requested through interlibrary loan (ILL), the average wait time before it is ready for pickup is approximately 2 weeks. However, due to many factors that are beyond the Library's control, wait times for items will vary and we may be unable to successfully obtain certain items through interlibrary loan.

Copies of articles from periodicals and similar sources may arrive more quickly, sometimes within several days. However, like physical formats, wait times for articles can vary, and the Library may be unable to fulfill some article requests.

To place an interlibrary loan request, please visit the Can't Find It page of the Library's website or call the Reference Department at the Hughes Main Library (864-527-9258) or any of our other library locations for assistance.
