Greenville County Library System partners with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program through United Way to provide free tax preparation for Greenville County residents with qualifying incomes at the Hughes Main Library, Anderson Road, Augusta Road, Fountain Inn, Mauldin and Travelers Rest branches. Please call United Way at 211 or 1-866-892-9211 to schedule an appointment and select a location. Please note that the library does NOT schedule the appointments-you must call the United Way at 211 or 1-866-892-9211 to schedule your appointment. In addition, library staff do NOT assist with tax preparation and cannot provide tax advice; if you have questions, please ask your VITA volunteer at your appointment.
VITA attendees are also eligible for free parking at the Hughes Main Library, so please ask your VITA volunteer for validation at the end of your appointment.
