Effective Tuesday, September 6, 2016, library cardholders who are eligible for interlibrary loan service may have up to five (5) active interlibrary loan requests at any given time. Active requests include the following:

  • Requests for items that the Library is actively trying to borrow for a library patron
  • Interlibrary loan materials that have been borrowed from another library and checked out to a library patron

Requests remain active until they're cancelled by the patron or a library staff member. Interlibrary loan materials that have been checked out to library patrons continue to be counted as active requests until they're returned and checked in at a Greenville County Library System location.
