Library cardholders who are eligible for interlibrary loan service may have up to five (5) active interlibrary loan requests at any given time. Active requests include the following:

  • Requests for items that the Library is actively trying to borrow for a library patron
  • Interlibrary loan materials that have been borrowed from another library and checked out to a library patron

Requests remain active until they're cancelled by the patron or a library staff member. Interlibrary loan materials that have been checked out to library patrons continue to be counted as active requests until they're returned and checked in at a Greenville County Library System location.
